  6. Avenger 1

    72nd Airborne Division

    MSKE Archipelago

Platoon Level OPORD: OPN CITY CHICKEN VIII

    1.  SITUATION

    a.  Area of Interest. Northeastern Island, MSKE

    b.  Area of Operations.  Southern peninsula of the northeastern island

    (1)  Terrain.

    (a)  Obstacles.

    1.      LDAs and ODAs. Large number of ODAs throughout AO.  Many ODAs have enemy fortifications built to watch them which will attack friendly forces. Friendly forces will avoid LDAs and ODAs adjacent to known enemy locations where possible and utilize LDA and ODA crossing techniques to mitigate risk when dismounted.

    2.      Urban Environment. Provide enemy advantage due to the offensive nature of this operation. Enemy patrols will likely hold defensive positions and conduct ambushes on friendly forces advancing through urban terrain. Friendly forces will utilize proper coordination amongst other units.

    (b)  Avenues of Approach. Limited roads, representing easily fortified chokepoints.  Majority of island has large patches of dense forest, with the exception of the northern peninsula.  Roads are to be avoided where possible but may not always be avoidable.

    (c)  Key Terrain. Tall ridges and hills act as primary key terrain throughout AO and will provide advantage to those who control them.

    (d)  Observations and Fields of Fire. AoAs, enterable buildings, and points of elevation will provide the best Observations and Fields of Fire throughout movement.

    (e)  Cover and Concealment. Buildings, vegetation, and rock formations provide intermittent cover and concealment throughout the region. Friendly forces will utilize this to facilitate maneuvers during missions.

    (2)  Weather: Morning, cloudy

    c.  Enemy Forces. Conventional standing military (PLA)

    (1)  Disposition.

    (a)  The air defense network is completely eliminated and the only significant AA threats are manpads.

    (b)  The majority of the island has been taken and the only remaining enemy resistance has retreated to the southern peninsula.

    (c)  Friendly naval forces will be able to provide only limited fire support due to the threat of enemy naval forces in the area.

    (2)  Enemy Course of Action.

    (a)  MLCOA. Enemy forces will use platoon- and company-sized elements to conduct attacks and ambushes against friendly forces.  IDF and vehicles will be utilized to disrupt friendly forces and impact ability to maneuver.

    (b)  MDCOA. Enemy forces will use company-sized elements to occupy defensive lines and key installations, and conduct operations against friendly positions.  Enemy forces may retreat, depending on disposition.

    2.  MISSION

NLT 0600 25NOV2023 Avenger 1 will conduct operations to eliminate remaining enemy forces on the southern peninsula of the island.

    3.  EXECUTION

    a.  Commander’s Intent.  Ensure suppression of PLA forces throughout the northeastern island.

    b.  Concept of the Operation.  Decisive to this operation is neutralizing remaining enemy resistance on the island.

    c. Scheme of Maneuver.

    (1) Phase 1, Airborne Jump

Avenger 1 will load up at the airfield, gear up, get parachutes on, and load up into 2 CH-47's.  From there we will be flown to the DZ, jump, and rally on the DZRP.  Once organized, the platoon will move out southwest along the marked path and move to the first objective.  Along the way, 1-4 will split off and move to their OP and set up Mk19's.

    46Gencw.jpeg

    (2) Phase 2, assault on OBJ Gushers and OBJ Skittles

1-2 and 1-3 will move OBJ Gushers and begin clearing through.  The objective is a wide area with a small town, enemy forces are expected to be spread throughout the area rather than concentrated on the town.  1-2 and 1-3 will coordinate clearance while 1-4 provides fire support from their OP.  ODA will also be on an OP with view of the objective, and is planning on inserting early to provide ISR on the area.  Once Gushers is clear, one or both squads will proceed to OBJ Skittles to ensure the castle is clear as well.  Once both are clear, the operation will proceed to the 3rd phase.

    bT5GAiz.jpeg

    (3) Phase 3, assault on OBJ Starburst and OBJ Airheads

Once phase 2 is complete, 1-2 and 1-3 will begin movement to OBJ Starburst.  At the same time, 1-4 will proceed to ODA's OP to provide Mk19 support from there.  OBJ Starburst is a large fortified compound on top of a hill surrounded by dense forest.  It will be relatively easy to move up to without being spotted from the compound, but enemy patrols should be expected outside the perimeter.  1-2 and 1-3 will approach from the west up the hill and assault the perimeter from that direction.  There is a fence and razor wire along the perimeter, EOD should be on point in order to provide entryways through those obstacles.  Once OBJ Starburst is complete, the platoon will move to OBJ Airheads and assault from the south and west.  Once again, patrols should be expected inside the forest around the objective.  Once the town is clear, the platoon will either fly back to base or endex on site.

    2N3UqXQ.jpeg

    (4): Notes.

ODA will be deploying 30 minutes early to their OP via HALO jump, to conduct reconnaissance on the objective areas.  Once the platoon arrives and begins their assault, ODA will be providing direct fire support from their OP as well, likely in the form of tripod M2's.

    2.  MISSION

NLT 0000 18NOV2023 Avenger 1 will conduct operations to eliminate enemy forces in key towns on southeastern portion of the island.

    3.  EXECUTION

    a.  Commander’s Intent.  Ensure suppression of PLA forces throughout the northeastern island.

    b.  Concept of the Operation.  Decisive to this operation is neutralizing the two towns to the north and northeast of the airfield.

    c. Scheme of Maneuver.

    (1) Phase 1, Assault on Objectives Buick and Honda.

The platoon will spawn on the airfield, load up into helicopters, and conduct an air assault onto LZ Subuwu (not a typo).  From there they will move to the split point (SP), where 1-3 will break off north-northwest to assault OBJ Buick, and 1-2 will continue moving northeast to assault OBJ Honda.  Parts of 1-4 will be split between the rifle squads to assist, and PJ's from ACE will be attached for extra medical support.  There is an enemy presence of partial platoon strength on both objectives.  Once these are clear, the platoon will regroup on OBJ Buick before proceeding southwest towards the next objective.

    nI5Qytm.jpeg

    ppcV1KN.jpeg

    (2) Phase 2,

The platoon will move on foot southwest from OBJ Buick along the marked path.  Once the platoon gets in proximity of the town, they will proceed along one of the marked assault vectors.  These are possible rather than confirmed, and the actual assault vector will be chosen during the operation based on available intel from Hitman, who will be conducting ISR on the objective for their operation.  Additionally, the enemy commander in charge of the island's defense is believed to be stationed in this town, he is to be eliminated, or captured if practical.  Hitman will carry out this sub-objective if able, otherwise they will mark potential locations for the platoon to investigate.  Either way, once the town is clear, the platoon will most likely return to the airfield via helicopter for endex.

    OAP9wLn.jpeg

    0ZPWusA.jpeg

    (3): Notes.

Hitman will be operating in the area to the east of OBJ Chevy to provide ISR on OBJ Buick and OBJ Chevy, as well as the path between them.  Platoon elements should double check contact ID in that direction.

  11. Avenger 1

    72nd Airborne Division

    MSKE Archipelago

Platoon Level OPORD: OPN CITY CHICKEN VI

    1.  SITUATION

    a.  Area of Interest. Northeastern Island, MSKE

    b.  Area of Operations.  Southeastern half of the northeastern island

    (2)  Weather: Morning, Clear

    c.  Enemy Forces. Conventional standing military (PLA)

    (1)  Disposition.

    (a)  The air defense network is completely eliminated and the only significant AA threats are manpads.

    (b)  The primary airfield has been taken and only patches of significant resistance remain on the island.  Friendly forces control the land bridge and the area immediately surrounding the airfield.

    2.  MISSION

NLT 0600 11NOV2023 Avenger 1 will conduct operations to eliminate enemy forces north of the airfield and secure that flank.

    3.  EXECUTION

    a.  Commander’s Intent.  Ensure suppression of PLA forces throughout the northeastern island.

    b.  Concept of the Operation.  Decisive to this operation is neutralizing the two towns to the north and northeast of the airfield.

    c. Scheme of Maneuver.

    (1) Phase 1, Movement to airfield, assault on Objectives Fedora and Bowler.

The platoon will spawn at the platoon destroyer, gear up, brief in formation, then move to the carrier for transport.  From there, ACE will fly the platoon to the main airfield, from which the platoon will move north on foot towards OBJ Fedora along the marked path.  Once the platoon reaches the top of the slope south of OBJ Fedora, ACE will be called upon to drop cluster bombs in pre-designated locations on the objective.  Once this is complete, the platoon will move down the slope and enter the town from the south and/or eastern slope and proceed to clear the upper (east) half of the town.  Once this section is clear, 1-4 and a rifle squad will move to clear the lower (west) half of the town, while another rifle squad will proceed to OBJ Bowler and clear it.  Prior to the movement to Bowler, naval artillery will be called on that objective to soften it up.  Once both objectives are clear, the platoon will proceed northeast to OBJ Stetson.

    vn746sU.jpeg

    drafmM6.jpeg

    (2) Phase 2, Assault on OBJ Stetson.

The platoon will move from OBJ Fedora east and then north, following the treelines to OBJ Stetson.  OBJ Stetson may also be shelled with naval artillery, depending on observations.  As the treelines have been observed to be dangerous, if there is reason to believe enemies are in a treeline, said treeline will be hit with explosives first, either 40mm grenades or potentially 60mm mortars if available.  Once Stetson is clear, the platoon will proceed east towards OBJ Sombrero.

    QLDiqWM.jpeg

    (3) Phase 3: Assault on OBJ Sombrero.

The platoon will move on OBJ Sombrero from the east.  This objective has an armored company occupying it, though it should be expected that infantry will be garrisoning it as well.  An Apache will be on standby to assist with armored threats during this objective.  The town has trees and other foliage on nearly all sides blocking sight into it until very close range, therefore a frontal close range assault will be necessary regardless of the approach.  Once the town is clear, depending on available time the platoon will either work to clear bunkers along the coastline, or move back to the airfield and end there.

    (4): Notes.

Mines will be placed on a section of road immediately northeast of OBJ Stetson via artillery, in order to prevent/discourage the armored company in OBJ Sombrero from acting as a QRF to the earlier objectives.

    (a)  The air defense network on the northwestern half of the island has been eliminated, but the southwestern half is still largely active..  Friendly air assets will be capable of flying around the northwestern area without much difficulty.

    (b)  The remaining enemy forces on the northwestern island are unable to retreat due to mines on the isthmus and will be conducting an assault on friendly lines.

    (c)  Friendly naval forces will be able to provide only limited fire support due to the threat of enemy naval forces in the area.

    2.  MISSION

NLT 1845 04NOV2023 Avenger 1 will conduct operations to push the front line on the southeast half of the island and secure the land bridge for friendly forces to cross.

    3.  EXECUTION

    a.  Commander’s Intent.  Ensure suppression of PLA forces throughout the northeastern island.

    b.  Concept of the Operation.  Decisive to this operation is securing the southeast end of the land bridge.

    c. Scheme of Maneuver.

    (1) Phase 1, Resupply and movement through enemy line.

Avenger 1 will start where we last left off.  A resupply will be dropped off by ACE, after which we will move off towards the enemy line along the marked path.  Said line is composed of hastily dug trenches and a few bunkers that were already present.  Enemy composition is unknown but expected to be mostly or entirely infantry.  The platoon will push from the east end of the line in the forest towards the west, neutralizing defenses as necessary.  After the line has been crossed, the platoon will proceed towards OBJ Alpha.

    4M5pR3d.jpeg

    (2) Phase 2, Assault on OBJ Alpha.

The platoon will move towards OBJ Alpha from the east and assault from the nearby hilltop.  It is believed (though not confirmed) that an enemy infantry platoon is stationed here.  A strategic road intersection is located at this town and 1-4 should be positioned to provide suppression as well as to respond to enemy QRF.  Enemy motorized and armored assets are located to the west and may respond quickly using the west road, therefore AT assets should be ready to respond to threats from that direction.  Once the town is captured, the platoon will continue moving west towards OBJ Bravo.

    i7HL1e1.jpeg

    (3) Phase 3: Assault on OBJ Bravo.

The platoon will move up the hill north of the road to OBJ Bravo.  An enemy combat outpost with a platoon-sized enemy complement is located in the immediate vicinity of the hilltop.  The platoon will sweep through and clear, and use this location to get eyes on OBJs Charlie and Delta.  Additionally, an enemy FARP is located within a kilometer to the south-southeast of the outpost, with a clear sightline between the locations (location shown a few images below).  Avenger 1 HQ will locate the FARP from the outpost and call naval artillery on it's location, giving ACE assets clear warning ahead of time.

    XTSa0tN.jpeg

    (4) Phase 4: OBJ Charlie and OBJ Delta.

While at the outpost, the platoon will get eyes on OBJ Charlie and OBJ Delta.  OBJ Charlie marked where an enemy motorized company is believed to be located.  It is unknown whether fortifications are located on the T intersection or if it's simply a convenient location for them to act as a QRF from.  OBJ Delta is the vicinity around the border checkpoint at the southeast end of the land bridge.  Two armored companies are believed to be stationed here, one of which is at partial strength due to losses sustained in the last friendly operation.  Avenger 1 does not have the assets to take on either of these objectives alone, but especially not OBJ Delta.  Support from friendly CAS assets will be absolutely critical to the success of either of these objectives.  While the platoon is marked to move on OBJ Charlie first, this may change depending on circumstances.  Friendly forces are depending on the assault of OBJ Delta from the east, therefore it absolutely cannot be left alone.  Once the platoon is done securing one objective, they will move on the other.  Once Delta or both objectives are complete (depending on time) the platoon will either endex at Delta or, if time allows, arrange air transport back to the destroyer.

    x8A8rn7.jpeg

    (5): Notes.

There is an infantry company stationed in a town to the south of the enemy fortification line.  ACE is tasked to bomb said town prior to Avenger 1's movement through the line in order to ensure that it is not a substantial threat.  Additionally, a killbox will be established to the south of platoon's AO where ACE has type 3 authorization on any enemy assets spotted in the area.  It is suspected that the enemy FARP mentioned earlier may send CAS or other assets in the direction of platoon, therefore ACE is tasked with maintaining air superiority in the area after the bombing of the infantry company is complete.  No other enemy ground assets are expected to QRF from the south.

The platoon will load up in a helicopter at LZ Alpha and be transported to LZ Bravo.  Multiple airstrikes will need to occur while the platoon is in-transit and if ACE isn't prepared to conduct them, the platoon will instead be flown back to the destroyer and rearm while ACE prepares for the strikes.  In particular, enemy defenses along the coast in proximity of LZ Bravo need to be neutralized, and the town at OBJ Turkey needs to be bombed.  When ACE is prepared for these, the platoon will be air assaulted onto LZ Bravo just after these are conducted.  The LZ may be hot, and even if not, enemy QRF from OBJ Turkey should be expected.

The platoon will move through the forest to OBJ Turkey and attack from the high ground.  Enemy forces (a company sized infantry element) should be greatly diminished by airstrikes, but it may still be a hard fight.  In the event that the assault goes poorly, the platoon will break contact to RP Charlie.  Once the platoon enters proximity of the town, EOD personnel should be positioned at the front due to expected threat of unexploded ordnance (submunitions from cluster bombs).  Enemy QRF from the south is a possibility, as the next objective is in close proximity to the south.  Once the town is clear, the platoon will regroup and prepare for OBJ Duck.

    cQq9HOu.jpeg

    (3) Phase 3: Assault on OBJ Duck.

OBJ Duck is close to the south of OBJ Turkey and at the bottom of a valley.  The terrain between the two objectives is a south facing slope with excellent firing positions on OBJ Duck.  Therefore, it should be relatively simple to establish fire superiority over the objective prior to moving in.  There are enemy fortifications to the south in the area of the opposing ridgeline, any in view of the platoon should be engaged and neutralized at this time.  Around this point in time, it is expected that enemy QRF from off the peninsula will likely be incoming on the road to the south-southwest.  Said QRF may include enemy armored forces.  At this time, the platoon will request CAS support from ACE in order to prevent enemy vehicles from moving in along that corridor.  If CAS is not available for this, the platoon will have the destroyer fire AT mine shells onto the road to prevent enemy vehicle movement over it.  Once OBJ Duck is clear, the platoon will regroup and prepare to move on OBJ Chicken.

    X2Z0kpf.jpeg

    (4) Phase 4: Destruction of defenses at OBJ Chicken, occupation of OBJ Turducken.

OBJ Chicken is an area of ridgeline with enemy fortifications as well as a suspected AA battery.  1-4 will move west onto the hillside which has commanding views on the ridgeline and road, as well as line of sight close to OBJ Turducken.  1-2 and 1-3 will move south onto the forested hillside and utilize the forest to move close to the area.  The OBJ mark is not a precise location and enemy forces are liable to be positioned anywhere along the ridgeline.  The platoon will sweep the ridgeline and neutralize enemy forces.  Depending on time, the platoon will either endex in proximity of the ridgeline and incoming road, or move to assault OBJ Turducken.  OBJ Turducken is a small village at an important T intersection and enemy QRF towards the peninsula will be forced to pass through or nearby it.  It is currently guarded by an infantry platoon, however it is possible that it will reinforced in the course of the operation.  The platoon will move to the hill east of it and assault from that direction.  Once the town is clear, the platoon will either dig in for a defense or endex.

    1.  SITUATION

    a.  Area of Interest. Northeastern Island, MSKE

    b.  Area of Operations.  Northwestern half of the northeastern island

    (c)  Key Terrain. Tall ridges act as primary key terrain throughout AO and will provide advantage to those who control them.

    (2)  Weather. Morning, Clear.

    c.  Enemy Forces. Conventional standing military (PLA)

    (1)  Disposition.

    (a)  The air defense network on the northwestern half of the island is greatly reduced, but still a major threat.  Friendly air assets will be capable of flying around the northern shore without much difficulty.

    (b)  There are various enemy installations on the northwestern half of the island, many enemy forces have been damaged or destroyed, some are in retreat.

    2.  MISSION

NLT 0800 21OCT2023 Avenger 1 will conduct operations to break through the northern defensive line and capture the military hospital.

    3.  EXECUTION

    a.  Commander’s Intent.  Ensure suppression of PLA forces throughout the northeastern island.

    b.  Concept of the Operation.  Decisive to this operation is breaking through the northern defensive line.

    c. Scheme of Maneuver.

    (1) Phase 0, preparation:

The platoon will start at the military hospital captured during OP #02.  The remaining Strykers and remaining Paladin will spawn there with zero ammo.  Platoon will coordinate a resupply with ACE of 2x platoon AP boxes and a vehicle ammo box, to rearm the Strykers on the spot.  An M2A3 Bradley will be transported from the destroyer to the platoon via helicopter, and the Paladin will be transported back to the destroyer for storage.  Platoon will rearm themselves and the vehicles before moving off.  1-4 will operate the Bradley and Mk-19 Stryker, the TOW Stryker will be handled by 1-3.

    (2) Phase 1, Military Training Center, OBJ Asparagus

In this phase, the Platoon will assault the military training center, OBJ Asparagus.  The training center had an infantry company stationed on it, but it was damaged by airstrikes and is believed to be in retreat.  Therefore, the level of resistance at the OBJ is unknown, but less than a company.  The OBJ has several trench lines and mounted weapons in towers, therefore 1-4 will be positioned in the vicinity of the marked OP to provide fire support while 1-2 and 1-3 move in on foot along the marked path to clear it.  The smaller radio station to it's immediate southeast has had all relevant equipment destroyed and is likely lightly defended, if at all.  Once the OBJ has been neutralized, the platoon will continue south.
    AUpZZus.jpeg

    34O31GM.jpeg

    (3) Phase 2, OBJ Broccoli and OBJ Cabbage.

The platoon will mounted up and continue south from OBJ Asparagus along the marked path.  Once at the split point, the platoon will soft dismount and 1-4 will move to an OP to the northwest of OBJ Broccoli while 1-2 and 1-3 will continue on foot to their assault point.  Only an enemy infantry platoon is expected at OBJ Broccoli, so friendly vehicle support should render resistance fairly minimal.

Once OBJ Broccoli is neutralized, 1-2 will move direct through the forest to OBJ Cabbage while 1-4 and 1-3 will move above the rock line by the road in order to provide fire support.  OBJ Cabbage is some kind of outpost guarding the wye in the road, expected to be platoon strength.  Vehicle support should once again render this one relatively easy, however if 1-2 has difficulties entering and clearing, then 1-3 can proceed down to hill to support.

    lEwjBRr.png

    AFVU51F.jpeg

    (4) Phase 3: Secondary Objectives Kale and Lettuce

At this point, Avenger will check in with Hitman and ACE about the status of objectives Kale and Lettuce.  Kale is a power station on the southwest corner of the island which is one of Hitman's objectives.  Should one of Hitman's earlier objectives take longer than anticipated, they may request that Avenger go after Kale instead.  If this occurs, Avenger will move southwest from OBJ Cabbage.  There is a small village in the valley prior to the power station, there are no known enemy units here but as it lies along the path of travel it will need to be confirmed neutral.  1-4 will take an OP to the northwest on the hillside while 1-2 and 1-3 proceed directly to the village.  Once the village is cleared, 1-4 will group back up with the other squads and the platoon will proceed along the road to Kale.  1-4 will position themselves along the road on top of the slope while 1-2 and 1-3 move into the power station directly.  Resistance is expected to be about an infantry platoon's worth, however poor sight lines will restrict fire support from vehicles, so the squads will need to proceed carefully.  Once the objective is clear, the squads will proceed back to OBJ Cabbage.

OBJ Lettuce is a staging point for a mechanized company to the southeast of OBJ Cabbage.  ACE is planning on striking this enemy force prior to Avengers arrival in the immediate area, however if the strike doesn't occur or isn't believed to be effective, Avenger will need to proceed in and deal with this enemy force directly, to avoid being flanked from the rear.  The compound is positioned at the bottom of a slope, steepest near the bottom with scattered vegetation all around, so sight lines down to the objective are unreliable and restricted.  1-2 and 1-3 will be able to proceed relatively close to the OBJ, but enemy vehicles moving east of the objective could pose a threat.  1-4 will need to scout for a firing position themselves and may need to move frequently as the situation changes.  Expected resistance is uncertain, as the mechanized company was also damaged during earlier strikes.  Once the objective is clear, the squads will proceed to OBJ Daikon.

    W4531M3.png

    O8ajaR1.png

    (5) Phase 4: OBJ Daikon and OBJ Eggplant

Once OBJ Cabbage and any necessary secondary objectives are cleared, the platoon will proceed to OBJ Daikon.  OBJ Daikon is the close side of the isthmus connecting the two halves of the island, and the location of an enemy motorized company.  The objective is marked under the assumption that said motorized company will defend in place, however there is every possibility that it will instead move across the isthmus to reinforce the other side, or act as QRF to one of the earlier objectives.  Either way, once the area around OBJ Daikon is cleared, Avenger will proceed across the isthmus.  1-2 and 1-3 will move on foot on either side of the road, 1-4 will stay on the northwest side in fire support locations.  It is possible that the isthmus will be mined by the time Avenger gets there, so EOD should be on point.  Once the isthmus is crossed, Avenger will assault, clear, and hold the border checkpoint labeled OBJ Eggplant.  There are two armored companies on the map in the vicinity of Eggplant, and it is likely that the enemy will move other forces to reinforce, so a hard fight should be expected.  While 1-4 and 1-3 will be capable of destroying some armored assets with TOWs, friendly air support will almost certainly be required to take this objective.  Once OBJ Eggplant is cleared and secured up to the border fence, Avenger will dig in and prepare for endex.  In the event that it is not possible to take, Avenger will retreat back across the isthmus to OBJ Daikon and fortify there.

    a.  Commander’s Intent.  Ensure suppression of PLA forces throughout the northeastern island

    b.  Concept of the Operation.  Decisive to this operation is breaking through the northern defensive line.

    c. Scheme of Maneuver.

    (1) Phase 0, preparation:
At T-1:00, the server will go up and ACE will load in, begin SEAD operations, and strike TRP's.
At T-0:45, ODA will load in and begin intel gathering and demining operations.
At T-0:30, Platoon and Squad level leadership will be cleared to load in and begin setting up vehicles
At T-0:15, the rest of Platoon will be cleared to load in and start getting organized.
At no later than T+0:10, Platoon is to move off from the destroyer and begin operations.

    (2) Phase 1, boat landing:
Platoon will move from the destroyer to the marked landing area on speedboats marked with miniguns and GMGs.  It will be 4 boats, 1 team per boat for the rifle squads.  The boats will be operated by 1-4 and platoon leadership.  Once approaching the shore, the boats will carefully stay within a safe lane marked by ODA, as the coast has naval mines and ODA will have defused a lane through for platoon to land.  There will be antipersonnel mines on the beach, as the boats approach close they will lay down GMG fire on the beach in order to destroy as many mines as possible.  The landing site (CP Apple) has ruins and will likely be fortified by the enemy.  Enemy positions will also be hit by GMG fire on approach.  In the last moments before dismounting, Squad and Team leads should use their 40mm launchers to lay down smoke cover on enemy fortifications in order to facilitate safer landings.

Once the boats reach the shore, the rifle squads will dismount and begin the ground assault.  1-4 will remain in the boats to provide suppressing fire with the GMG and miniguns until the boats are disabled or run out of ammo.  Once the immediate fortifications are cleared out, platoon will set up in the ruins with one squad watching west and one squad watching south for approaching enemies.  QRFs are expected and will be dealt with in place.  Once QRFs have been dealt with and the landing site is secured, ACE will be called to deliver 2x M109 Paladins to the site.  Once the Paladins are dropped off, 1-4 will begin operating them and hitting marked enemy sites.  Meanwhile, ACE will drop off 2x Mk19 strykers and 2x TOW strykers to the platoon.  Once all vehicles are dropped off, phase 2 will begin.

1-2 and 1-3 will mount up in the Strykers and proceed to CP Banana.  1-4 will stay behind in the Paladins, conduct strikes, and move as necessary to avoid enemy forces and counterbattery.  There are enemy forces marked between CP Apple and CP Banana, they are expected to be QRF to CP Apple during phase 1.  If it is suspected that the route between the two CPs still has enemies, platoon will proceed soft dismounted with infantry screening in front of the vehicles.  If not, everyone will mount up and the vehicles will drive straight there.

Once at CP Banana, Platoon will conduct fires on the fortification line in order to soften it up, as well as mark further targets for 1-4 and potentially air or naval support, if available.  Platoon will be aiming to break through the western section of the line and will focus the majority of their fires on that section.  The mechanized platoon marked on the map is expected to be dug in at the fortifications as extra firepower, but this is not confirmed.  Once the defenses are sufficiently suppressed, platoon will continue skirting the coastline along the marked route, sticking to defilade where available.  The hilltop to the west of CP Banana will be used as the actual assault point into the line.  The cross point will be labeled CP Cherry.  CP Cherry is the 2nd fallback point for if we run out of time for the primary objective, it is our minimum goal.  Once here, 1-4 will move to catch up with the rest of platoon, to avoid being left behind in a potential pocket.

    (4) Phase 3, assault on the military hospital.

Once past CP Cherry, platoon will proceed to CP Dragonfruit, the town of Boronesh.  This town appears to be abandoned and there is currently no intel about enemy forces stationed there, so if there is any contact, it is expected to be light.  CP Dragonfruit is our first fallback point, we will halt there and fortify if we get there any later than T+1:50.  Otherwise, we will continue west and then south along the marked route to the assault point for the hospital.  Sometime around this point, it is expected that Hitman will regroup with Avenger, having accomplished their primary mission on the airfield island further west.  Once the assault point is reached, if HItman has joined platoon by then, they will take over the handling of the strykers.  If 1-4 is with the rest of platoon and the artillery is no longer useful at that point, the Paladins will be left behind and 1-4 will take over handling of the TOW strykers whilst Hitman handles the Mk19 strykers.  If not all 4 strykers are still available, Hitman will take priority for them as they will not be as well equipped for ground assault as 1-4 is.

From the assault point, the squads will move dismounted up the hill along the marked path while the strykers provide covering fire and cordon from behind.  Rock formations provide cover from the taller ridge to the southeast where more enemy fortifications or QRF are expected.  The military hospital is expected to be fortified with approximately an infantry platoon holding it, though that is unconfirmed.  More specific details of the assault will need to be evaluated on the ground due to lack of intel.  If it is evaluated that the planned approach is not practical for whatever reason, platoon will instead move up the road to the hospital in the strykers and do a frontal assault on whatever fortifications are along the road.

Once the hospital is taken, the platoon will dig in and prepare for defense and eventual endex.
