The 72nd Ranger School is seven weeks of teaching and training combat arms skills to soldiers whos primary mission is to engage in a close combat, direct fire battle. By the end of Ranger School students will have also developed leadership skills in the planning and conduct of dismounted infantry, airborne, air mobile, and amphibious independent team sized operations.
